Post subject: Sonoma County AVAs

There are quite a few AVAs in this gorgeous County. I believe the County its split between Sonoma County AVAs and also a Northern Sonoma County AVAs section. Is that true?
I remember the beautiful stretch of Alexander Valley. Great wineries are located there.
What AVAs have you visited in Sonoma County and what winery visits did you fancy?

City of Sonoma has a beautiful City Square. Also, the last California Mission is located there. Besides the unique location we visited the Sebastiani Vineyard & Winerey which is part of Sonoma County AVA. Both are very interesting, the City Square as well as Sebastiani.

We visited the Healdsburg Area. I believe this is part of the Sonoma County "Dry Creek Valley' AVA? We have fond memories of the Mazzocco Vineyards, makers of great wines, including delicious Zinfandel.

Sofar you guys have mentioned Alexander Valley, City of Sonoma, Dry Creek Valley/Healdsburg Area, and how about Russian River Valley? That area is full of many wineries which are producing outstanding varietals!

In the Dry Creek Valley/Healdsburg Area, is also the Seghesio Family Vineyards. I like their Reds/Zinfandel.

Souverain Winery in Alexander Valley, Sonoma County, produces and offers their 2004 Souverain Cabernet Sauvignon Alexander Valley.
Go and visit this winery, but especially try to find this Vintage. Great Taste and Reasonably Prized!

Russian River Valley in Sonoma County, California. Liked drinking the 2003 Clos Du Bois Calcaire Chardonnay. Is their winery within the Russian River Valley Location?

Have you tried a Fume Sauvignon Blanc? Murphy Goode Estate Winery is producing a Fume Sauvignon Blanc Reserve. When you visit the beautiful Alexander Valley again, go see these people and try this Fume!

Over the years, the Seghesio Family Vineyards are the makers of Sonoma Zinfandel. They are located in Healdsburg, California. Someone mentioned this winery already. When we are going back to Northern California this summer, we will go and visit Seghesio.

Believe that they have vineyards all over. Question, is the Ferrari Carano Winery for Fume Blanc in Sonoma County? If yes, in what area are they located, for future visits?

As already mentioned in the other Wine Forum Post and Tasting Notes, the wine being served during our Charity Gala Ball, was Roth Cabernet Sauvignon from Alexander Valley in Sonoma County. Question, I tried to look up Roth's address in Alexander Valley. No success. Does anyone know their location in Alexander Valley?

Just visited our friends in California. For the first time we had tasteful exposure to California Zinfandel from the Taft Street Winery, Russian River Valley in Northern California. Would like to know more about visiting this winery, who has?
