Post subject: Organically grown wines

My mother-in-law is interested in drinking organically grown wines. She is trying to find a list of California Wineries that produce organically grown wines.

I don't have any specific recommendations...however, you are sure to enjoy the current issue of wine spectator "wine goes green" - there is a very interesting story on the movement to embrace more natural methods.

Just coming back from Europe, I have to say I was quite surprised by the lack of organically grown wines. None of the wine bars and restaurants had any to offer.

I know what you mean. I just came back from Austria and none of the restaurants I wined and dined had organic wines available.

Found an organic winery, called Frey Vineyards which is America's oldest organic winery, offering organic & biodynamic wines, with no sulfites added.

Next time you visit your local Trader Joe's market, why don't you ask them about their organic wine selection.

Besides the aforementioned information, more and more local wine merchants are now offering a bigger organic wine section. Just ask for it.

The original question was "Organically Grown Wines"
Take a look under eBacchus Wine Forum Section Organic Wines/Organic Wineries. There you will find Organically Grown Wines.

Posssibly you want to check out both categories:
A) Wine & Health and B) Organic Wines within eBacchus Wine Forum.
Both categories offer some great sections to read about.

You are right, both Wine Forum Sections offer interesting readings.
Also, on the home page, you will find Wine Information & Expert Tips/the other Wine and Health category. There, you will find great expert articles about this subject.

Appreciate your tips. In the future we will have more wineries producing a greater selection of Organically Grown Wines, all for health reasons.

eBacchus Wine Forum/Wine & Health section, is one of my favorites.
Always enjoy reading all the different topics. Had no idea how healthy good wines could be. Many thanks.
