| Post subject: Which Food Network personality/cook do you like and why? |
I'm in love with the Barefoot Contessa. She is so passionate and calm about cooking. She also has wine or cocktails and company as a part of the show. I love that about her show, it has more than one purpose. That is just how life is; more than one purpose. She is confident and loves giving food away to people; she's a lot like me. Also, wanted to share years ago I had KFC fried chicken with Castle Rock Pinot Noir; what a wonderful pairing of simple take-out food and wine. |

We must have similar likings in our Food Networks. Also, I have tried Castle Rock Pinot Noir, offering taste, fruits, and value.
P.S. A number of Castle Rocks are already in the SweetGrape's Wine Tastig Notes sectin. |

I really like Gordon Ramsay. I think his recipes are simple and delicious! His shows ' The F word', and ' Kitchen Nightmares' which are aired on BBC, are both entertaining and educative. |

She is no Chef, but certainly creative with her kitchen ideas. |

Plus Rachel Ray is getting lots of TV exposure, all thanks to Oprah. |

Rachel Ray is okay; she appeals to home cooks who need to cook in a hurry. |

Your original posting, the Barefoot Contessa, is more appealing to me. |

Yes, Rachel Ray "appeals" to the "must be fast, home cookers" |

What about Tyler Florence? I like the way he cooks, but have never tried any recipes. I also miss the wine and food pairing show Pairings with Andrea. I think the food network should have a show for wine lovers, and pair wine and food. |

Cooking style is a preference. I'm from the south, so I like seafood and regular foods with the volume turned up. I like to create dishes that pair well with wines, even simple things like burgers. Most people eat everyday foods, so we must jazz them up to compliment our wines. |

Forgot her name, I believe the lady is from Savannah, Georgis. She always come up with some nice and fattening recipes, and enjoys her wines with dinner. |
