 | | The XXth Anniversary Chardonnay combines ripe, forward fruit with an elegant, structured Burgundian wine, creating a more open style than the traditional ABCs, complex but balanced, no exaggeration but less restraint and discretion. The XXth Anniversary at once became the most heralded white in ABCs long history. At a recent tasting in 2007, we found this wine to be wonderfully developed, still youthful and fresh, but with additional elements of marzipan, quince, baked apple, citrus oil, and exotic spice notes.
